A few photos from the little book project that was finished and mailed last week.
The envelopes are filled with small versions of Victorian trade cards, photographs, postcards, and various ephemera that I've either collected or created in miniature for the project. If you look closely you can see one tiny Halloween Post Card on the desk above, but the recipients will have to break the wax seals in order to examine the contents of each envelope.
Same format, 4"x 4" accordion fold. This time I used Canson papers and doubled the sheet to create pockets that hold envelopes enclosing small collections that more or less represent household items that a kitchen worker might have come across. OK, it's fanciful!
It has been a great project for pointed pen practice.
More about that later!

This is so very cool...absolutely love the lettering and the wax seal!!!
